OUR MISSION
OUR MISSION
MORE THAN A BUSINESS
Azure Palm Hot Springs was created with an intention of being a vehicle to improve people’s lives. It starts with the opportunity this large and special property affords to create a destination where guests can heal, grow and rejuvenate in the extraordinary natural mineral spring water that nature has bestowed on Miracle Hill in this small desert town of Desert Hot Springs.
Further, our intention was to create a property large and special enough to develop into a nucleus of tourism for the local city of Desert Hot Springs bringing more employment, pride, opportunity and prosperity to its local citizens.
And third, to give back to the residents of Desert Hot Springs in more direct ways through community support, financial and leadership aid to youth programs, and leading local change.

Inspiring Young Minds
AZURE PALM HOT SPRINGS has initiated a $1 fee per person with each day spa visit. We are the first resort to begin collecting this fee joining with the City of Desert Hot Springs in funding DHS OPENING DOORS, a program solely for the benefit of children living in Desert Hot Springs. Day Spa guests enjoy the city’s healing waters, use city streets, public utilities, paramedic services, etc., but do not pay tax on visits or spa services
This one dollar per person allows us to organize and pay for excursions for Desert Hot Springs children to museums in Los Angeles, the Pacific Coastline, Disney Concert Hall, Griffith Park Observatory and more. Even the simple beauty of residential streets in Pasadena can be enlightening to children that have never been out of the Coachella Valley and some never out of Desert Hot Springs. DHS OPENING DOORS will grow to include assistance in education, tuition, counseling and much more over the years. AZURE PALM HOT SPRINGS is committed to seeing this program expand and enrich the lives of young people living in Desert Hot Springs. We are committed to devoting time, manpower and resources creating experiences that can change lives.
This fee will be paid to the City on a monthly basis, held in a separate account and will be used solely by DHS Recreation and Community Services Department for enlightenment programs, field trips and other experiences that will broaden the horizons and inspire our young citizens, allowing them to envision more, strive for more, achieve more and become better citizens of our world.
Recent trips funded by the DHS OPENING DOORS $1 fee:
ACCESS TO ACRISURE
May, 2024
Many kids may never get a chance to afford access to even local sporting events. The Coachella Valley now has a local hockey team–the Coachella Valley Firebirds–who play at the new Acrisure Arena. The first trip took 25 middle school DHS residents to not only watch and participate in the camaraderie of the CV’s local sports event, but also get a behind the scenes tour of the impressive venue.
FIELD TRIP FOR 55 KIDS TO THE DISNEY CENTER IN LOS ANGELES
July 10, 2024
For the second outing, the DHS OPENING DOORS program led and funded a field trip for 55 children from the Desert Hot Springs Recreation Center’s summer program to Downtown Los Angeles to visit The Symphonian’s Music which includes the Walt Disney Concert Hall and the Dorothy Chandler Pavilion. Designed by architect Frank Gehry, Walt Disney Concert Hall is an internationally recognized landmark and one of the most acoustically sophisticated concert halls in the world, home of the LA Philharmonic.
The kids got behind the scenes tours giving them a chance to see the theater from a perspective they would not normally get. Lunch at a food truck gave them a break in-between venues before returning home.
